We did a little Q &A with one of our lecturers., Gina. Gina specialises in the Fitness industry and is part of our Fitness Faculty.
How long have you been in the fitness industry?
I have been involved in fitness for 35 years, a fitness professional for 22 years, and a fitness lecturer/course developer for 15 years. 🙂 What are 3 words you live by?
Integrity, Strength, Uniqueness What is your advice to students that want to start in the fitness industry?
Develop your ability to decipher credible information from fallacy. Just because something is popular – doesn’t make it true. A million wrong people are still wrong! Your client’s best interest should be your number one focus.

What is your passion?
Personally – number one passion is my gorgeous 25 year old son. My next passion is weight training which I do religiously I am also passionate about super sports motorbikes (I have a 2009 Yamaha R6). Professionally, I am passionate about being the best vessel possible to impart health and fitness knowledge to upcoming professionals, and being a fitness “myth buster”. 🙂
What is your proudest accomplishment to date?
Well there are a few – my son (of course), my educational achievements, Securing my current career position. What is your current goal?
I know this sounds like a cliche, but to be the best I can be – both personally and professionally.
